Specialized Texas DPS handgun training for eligible medical professionals assigned to support law-enforcement tactical units. The course focuses on defensive handgun skills and the proficiency requirements specific to tactical medical personnel. Note: After successful completion of this course the tactical medical professionals will receive a certificate of completion for the training course under section §411.1884, Government code.
